The Catholic Faith is central to the history and heritage of the Grand Families. The purpose of this page is to depict the history and role of the Catholic Church in shaping the lives and culture of the Grand Families - in the past, present, and future. Check back for information on the three Catholic churchs - on Cane River, in Goudeau, and in Lebeau -and how our early forefathers were instrumental to these Churches. We also hope to point out GrandFamily descendants who were called to a religious life in the Catholic Church and how the church still plays a central role in our lives. This site will be reviewed by your cousin and my aunt, Sister Doris Goudeaux, who celebrated her 60th anniversity, in 2009, with the Sisters of the Holy Family in New Orleans. "Sr. Doris" directs the commission for the canization cause of their founder in 1852 - Henriette Delille. - Mark Guidry
