NEWS RELEASE:  GFR 2011 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN !!!

Bonjour Cousins!

The Advisory Board of the National Grand Family Heritage Foundation (NGFHF) is pleased to provide you a HISTORIC GRAND FAMILY REUNION – July 8 – 10, 2011- in Natchitoches, Louisiana, along the beautiful Cane River!  You will not want to miss this 30th Year Anniversary of the Grand Family Reunions (1981 – 2011)!

Over 400 families will soon receive a ONE TIME POSTAL MAILOUT along with several hundred individuals who have "created an account" to receive all registration information electronically.   As it is near impossible to maintain accurate contact information with thousands and thousands of descendants, please do your part to forward and/or print out and share information with all GRAND FAMILY descendants !!!  

So, NOW is the time to do the following:

1.REGISTER NOW!  Early registration saves you money and assures your participation.  Space is limited so don't delay and miss out.  We expect to close registration after participation reaches the maximum capacity of the Natchitoches Events Center.  SEE REGISTRATION FORM.

2. MAKE HOTEL RESERVATIONS NOW!  Natchitoches accommodations are limited.  For maximum choices, make your reservations now.   A great deal of work has been done to negotiate group rates and block rooms at various accommodations in Natchitoches.  You may choose a hotel room or a historic bed and breakfast establishment, with varying rates and amenities.  SEE LIST OF PARTICIPATING ACCOMODATIONS.

3.PRESERVE THE FOOD TRADITIONS OF GRAND FAMILY ANCESTORS - DUE BY AUGUST 31th!Submit recipes (with your family tributes, stories and photos) to be included in the upcoming Grand Family Heritage Cookbook to be compiled and edited by cookbook author and Reunion hostess, Marilyn Goudeau Guidry.  SEE SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS.
