WELCOME TO THE NGFHF WEBSITE

The Foundation's mission is to preserve Louisiana's French-Creole history and heritage.  As one example is the extended-family traditions of the Grand Families of DUPRE, GOUDEAU, LACOUR, METOYER, & RAY.

The Foundation website will serve as a clearinghouse of educational information.  It may also serve as an educational tool to help plan and organize related activities, such as during the next, "Historic 30th Anniversary Grand Family Reunion" scheduled for July 8-10, 2011 in Natchitoches and along the beautiful Cane River, Louisiana.  Through future donations and fundraisers, the Foundation will be suited to sponsor and finance a great variety of educational events and activities that help preserve the history and heritage of many of Louisiana's historic French-Creole families.

On behalf of the Foundation, enjoy the new website!  It will help us stay connected in the modern world and help disseminate information throughout thousands of descendants and interested parties spread across the United States of American and beyond!

Remember to "Create an account" on the front page.  By doing so, you will automatically subscribe to receive NGFHF E-news with timely Founadtion updates to share with other interested parties.  Also, consider financially supporting the Foundation in it's broad mission. Foundation Board members have already extablished a non-profit status and are now working to acquire a tax-exempt status so that donations made in 2010 may also quality as  tax-deductible.   STAY TUNED!

Finally, bookmark this website and check it often as we take this planning journey toward the HISTORIC GRAND FAMILY REUNION 2011 when we will celebrate the 30th year anniversary of Grand Family Reunions on Cane River !
